Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DefensiveDrivingPlus.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. Preview / MVP status

The Service is currently a preview MVP and is not yet certified by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) or any other state authority. Certificates issued by the Service are sample-only and are not valid for court submission until provider licensing is finalized.

2. Eligibility & court approval

You are solely responsible for confirming with your court that the defensive driving certificate you submit is from a state-approved provider. Do not begin a course for ticket dismissal until your court has confirmed you are allowed to take defensive driving for your specific citation.

3. Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at support@defensivedrivingplus.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card number. Prices are listed at checkout and are charged in U.S. dollars. For refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not share your login credentials.
• Do not attempt to bypass course timers, quizzes, or completion gates.
• Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute course content.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” during the preview MVP period. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.
